GCM update 5.22.2009

After relocating to Colorado from Baltimore to care for an ill relative, Steve began working with GCM.  He had no contacts in Denver, so GCM set up a strategy for him to network with other professionals in his industry.  He was contacted by a recruiter for the position and went through a total of five interviews.  GCM worked with him to prepare for each one and when the offer came in a little lower than expected, he was coached on how to negotiate.  In the end he was thrilled with the results of the process and acknowledges that he never would have received the increase without GCM’s coaching.

Sheri came to GCM after being with the same company for over 20 years.  She had acquired her Master’s degree and a PMP during that time, but did not feel as if the agency recognized her added value and she was frustrated by the lack of growth opportunities.  GCM was able to help her reframe her expertise and coached her on how to articulate the value she brought to an organization.  She is thrilled with the new position, the additional responsibilities and the $20K increase in salary thanks to the help and guidance of GCM.
