Joey knew the company he was working for in trouble and by the second meeting with GCM he had been told he was being let go. GCM helped to develop an exit strategy with a severance package. About a week later he came across this new position. GCM helped him to network within the company, draft a cover letter specific to the position, secure an interview, and negotiate his compensation package. He is extremely excited about this new opportunity, especially as it gets him back into the industry he desired to return to.
“The elements of GCM that most helped me where reviewing various interview processes and remembering to ask ‘What is the next step’ after the interview. I enjoyed working with Scott. He was a great help.” – Beth

Alice had several interviews during her time working with GCM. The position she accepted resulted from one of the letters she sent. The CEO was excited to interview her and she received an offer. GCM helped with negotiating a higher salary and a 6 month review to increase compensation.
“The two elements of GCM that were most valuable to me were probably:
1)The video interview: it was really interesting to see myself as others see me . . . not always consistent with how we think we are coming across
2) My regular meetings with Scott: he provided me guidance, direction, motivation, counsel and sanity checks”

After relocating to Colorado from Baltimore to care for an ill relative, Steve began working with GCM. He had no contacts in Denver, so GCM set up a strategy for him to network with other professionals in his industry. He was contacted by a recruiter for the position and went through a total of five interviews. GCM worked with him to prepare for each one and when the offer came in a little lower than expected, he was coached on how to negotiate. In the end he was thrilled with the results of the process and acknowledges that he never would have received the increase without GCM’s coaching.
Sheri came to GCM after being with the same company for over 20 years. She had acquired her Master’s degree and a PMP during that time, but did not feel as if the agency recognized her added value and she was frustrated by the lack of growth opportunities. GCM was able to help her reframe her expertise and coached her on how to articulate the value she brought to an organization. She is thrilled with the new position, the additional responsibilities and the $20K increase in salary thanks to the help and guidance of GCM.
